事業(career),家庭(family),朋友(friends),對任何一個人而言,皆有其重要性。若無法同時兼顧時,你個人對其重要性的先後排序會是如何?為什麼?請以此為題,寫一篇約 250 字的文章,闡述你的看法。

For the majority of people, all the three elements: career, family, and friends, respectively mean a lot to them. However, when they have to make arrangements based on the order of priority, they have no choice but choose one that matters the most. If I have to define the order of priority, it would be like this: Career, friends and family.

Owning a career means that we may constantly keep earning our incomes. Choosing the right type of department in a university means the preliminary choice of a career. Having accumulated the amount of professional knowledge in four years means that they’re prepared to dedicate most of their time to serving the society and the public. After they formally work, it’s not worthwhile to suddenly give up their chosen profession halfway. Otherwise, all your efforts in university courses would be totally vain.

Friendship means the secondary priority to me. Chatting with our friends is another pleasure after we work. You may tell them some experiences of your daily lives, including happiness, sorrows, and other types of emotions. On top of that, on holidays, we may organize some plans of travelling and invite them. The reason is simple: Sharing everything together with them and record the process of their participation in the journeys would become part of the unforgettable moments in our lives.

Family means the haven where we grow up in. I don’t mean to say our parents are not as important as my career and friends. However, if we find another opportunity where is far away from our home promises higher income, I’ll have to leave my original hometown. When I retire someday, the role of family would be as equal as that of my career. And the role of friendship would remain the same.
